Made by people who lived the problem

bouts.app is made and run by Ethan Madison and Zach Zipper, two alumni of University of Michigan Fencing. In the Midwest Fencing Conference, every season ended the same way: each school combing through results to build spreadsheets for every fencer and squad, and a conference secretary spending many hours merging them—while chasing teams that sent results late or not at all. The MFC looked for a better solution for years, until we decided to be the solution.
